Chanelle Bergren • Account Executive

Chanelle BergrenChanelle has a combined 15 years of experience in health care operations, plan administration and contract management. Throughout her career, Chanelle has developed core competences in compliance, program development and management, implementation, data analysis and reporting. Her most recent position was as Acting Deputy Director of Benefits for the State of Arizona. Chanelle’s experience managing a large self-funded benefit program is an asset to her clients. As Account Executive, Chanelle’s primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. Understanding the customer is a key component of Chanelle’s role and allows American Health to develop strong partnership with customers resulting satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Kathy Diaz • Account Executive

Kathy DiazKathy has a combined 30 years of experience in the third party administrator (TPA) and medical management industries, all on the client services side of the business. Throughout her career, Kathy has excelled in customer-focused roles, including Marketing Manager, Client Services Manager and Account Executive. Her many years of experience in the TPA industry have proved invaluable in servicing American Health’s medical management customers. This experience, paired with her issue resolution skills and ability to listen and understand the clients’ needs and perspective, have enabled her to consistently build enduring relationships. As Account Executive, Kathy's primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. Understanding the customer is a key component of Kathy’s role and allows American Health's partnership with customers to result in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Richard Hodsdon • Vice President, Sales

Richard HodsdonRichard has more than 25 years of health care industry experience and prior to joining American Health was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at HHS, Health Options in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to his extensive background in health care, he has experience in the areas of program development, strategic planning, corporate metrics and senior leadership. As Vice President, Sales for American Health, Richard applies his expertise in the areas of disease management, predictive modeling and behavioral health to provide customized, integrated health care solutions for his clients in the Midwest and Southeastern regions of the United States.

Rita Maahs • Account Executive

Rita MaahsRita has more than 15 years of experience in consulting, business intelligence, finance, sales and operations. She has a strong background of leadership, data analysis and reporting, and strategic initiatives. Her most recent position was as Operations Manager at consulting firm North Highland, where she was responsible for supporting operations of offices in the northeast region. Rita’s varied industry experiences are an asset to her clients, for whom she assists in maximizing cost savings while ensuring quality services for their members.

Wendy OlsonWendy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from 16 years in the staffing business and more than 6 years in the health care industry, most recently as Vice President at HealthEZ/America’s PPO. Prior to her leadership role in benefit administration, Wendy worked as the Senior National Contract Manager for Ancillary Care Management. Wendy specializes in creating custom solutions and innovations for clients. Her passion involves working with clients to create the most personal solutions while saving money in health care. As Account Executive, Wendy's primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. Her role includes issue resolution and understanding the client so that American Health's partnership with customers results in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Carrie Pope • Vice President, Account Management

Carrie PopeCarrie has over 18 years of health care industry experience and possesses a wealth of knowledge about self-funded health plan management. Carrie’s career began in 1994 with Employers Health Insurance in Green Bay, WI, where she worked in claims operations. In 1996 she relocated to Minneapolis and began working for UnitedHealthcare Administrators, Inc., the third party administrator (TPA) that later became Fiserv Health, where she spent 12 years. She worked on the TPA side in Operations and Account Management before transitioning to the parent company as a Product Director, where she managed a wide-array of vendor relationships and products including reinsurance, pharmacy, subrogation and medical management. She was involved in the formation of Avidyn Health, a Fiserv Health medical management entity. She was a member of the senior management team and served as the Vice President, Account Management and Vice President, Sales. Carrie joined American Health in 2008 as Vice President, Sales for the Central Region and enjoys working with clients to customize programs to meet their individual needs.

Tino Versoza • Vice President, Sales

Tino VersozaTino has a combined 22 years of experience in health care operations, sales solutions and business development. Throughout his career, Tino has continuously increased sales and retention of clients through his knowledge of key account relationship management, strategic sales and market planning and competitive new product launch. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President at Enquiron, he developed and implemented sales solutions for carriers and TPAs as well as coordinated and conducted new client implementation for portal access. As Vice President of Sales for the Western region, Tino will work with new and existing clients to identify opportunities for American Health to deliver flexible medical management services that support cost-effective, quality care for members.  Understanding the customer is a key component of Tino’s role and allows American Health to develop strong partnership with customers resulting satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Julie Wilson, RN • Account Executive

Julie WilsonJulie Wilson brings a strong background in clinical informatics and client relations to American Health. In her previous role as Operations Manager at APS Healthcare, Julie oversaw the daily operations of the company’s Nevada service center and served as an Account Manager. She received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University and has 15 years of clinical experience. She also has a master’s degree in Health Care Informatics from the University of Colorado. As Account Executive, Julie provides account management and support to clients ensuring that the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations.
